In order to achieve good sealing performance after pipeline installation, in addition to selecting groove parts with good performance and ensuring that the sealing ring is not damaged, the flange and outer edge of the sealing ring need to be coated with neutral lubricant during installation to ensure that the lip of the sealing ring and the sealing ring of the pipeline fit more closely.

It is more suitable for pipeline installation in uneven environment. It can also absorb noise and vibration and absorb seismic stress. It is generally applied to the inlet and outlet pipes of water pumps in fire fighting systems.

When installing fire-fighting pipelines in occasions with certain temperature difference, when using fixed supports and anti-sway supports for pipelines, flexible joints and rigid joints can be used in combination, so that the axial force generated by pressure or temperature difference changes will not affect the bending of transverse branch pipes.
